Bhutan Elevates National Digital ID to Ethereum, Prioritizing Security and Self-Sovereignty

The Kingdom of Bhutan has officially migrated its national digital identity (NDI) system from the Polygon blockchain to Ethereum. This significant move aims to bolster the security and transparency of digital credentials for its approximately 800,000 residents, enabling them to access government services with enhanced control over their personal data.
